Lache FM presents Frost FM, a pop-up radio station for Chester and the surrounding areas.

The festive station will be broadcasting on 90.2 FM from December 4-7. Local volunteer presenters will be providing the area with an eclectic mix of music, from chart pop to roots reggae and everything in-between, including music from the finest local artists.

The station will also be helping local charities and community groups to get their messages out in the run up to Christmas.

Chris Sutton, from Lache Community Development Trust, the organisation behind the project, said: “We are really excited about Frost FM. It will be a great experience for our presenters and it’s a wonderful opportunity for us to promote all the good things happening in the local area and to celebrate the music, culture and great people within our community.

“We want everyone to get involved, so if you’re a local musician, or if you live, work, run a business or are part of a charity in Chester then please get touch.”
