PUPILS at Chester’s King’s School have supported Amnesty International’s Greetings Card campaign.
The campaign encourages people to send a friendly greetings card to someone who is in danger or has been unjustly imprisoned, with the hope of giving them strength and raising awareness of the injustices they have suffered.
Eulette Ewart, press officer for Amnesty International UK, said: “We are delighted that so many pupils at The King’s School are taking part in this year’s campaign. We see the incredible impact which the campaign has for those who receive the cards.
“It’s an effective way of offering hope.”
