SEVERAL ‘Jubilee babies’ entered the world at the Countess of Chester Hospital oblivious to celebrations taking place outside to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Proud parents Rachel and Shane Kirrane from Chester were happy to show off new born Orla Kirrane, who weighed in at 8lb 8oz, after being born at the Countess.

Fellow infant Leo Jack Carman, weighing 6lb 12 and 1/2 oz, from Chester, also made an appearance over the Jubilee bank holiday weekend.

Mum Angela Nichols, from Saltney, was over the moon at the arrival of baby Harry, who weighed in at 5lb 3oz.

Tiny April Johnson, who weighed 8lb 4oz, from Chester, also entered the world along with Nia Eliza Manson, weighing 7lb 14oz, from Tattenhall.
