AN INSPECTOR has refused permission for a mobile home at a horticultural business.
The appeal arose at Quarryfield, Rode Street, Tarporley, where Ellis Degavino is working to build up the business supplying locally and organically grown vegetables.
He was seeking approval to retain the home at the disused, filled-in quarry surrounded by fields, on a temporary basis while the business developed.
An inspector said a variety of produce is grown in limited quantities as Mr Degavino was reluctant to invest further until the outcome of the appeal was known.
She felt Mr Degavino had not shown it was essential for a worker to be available at all times.
