BASKETBALL players from BiG Storage Cheshire Jets visited Christleton Primary.
The athletes were on target with their healthy lifestyle message.
The “Hoops for Health” programme was launched by the Jets last September, reaching children in 16 primary schools in Chester.
Its success led to it being rolled out to other schools in the city in January as well as being introduced to schools in Warrington at the same time.
This season, BiG Storage Cheshire Jets will bring “Hoops for Health” to 120 schools across Chester, Warrington, the Wirral and Flintshire.
The major aim of the scheme is to deliver a healthy living programme through professional sporting role models, using basketball as an activity to highlight positive health messages to primary school youngsters.
