BIG Brother stars Mario and Lisa will be taking part in the Twilight Walk on Saturday, July 3, at 7pm in aid of Halton Haven Hospice and are inviting all to join in the fun.

The 10K stroll will raise money for the hospice which provides much-needed specialist care for local people who have life-limiting illnesses.

The Twilight Walk will also be attended by Snelly from BBC Merseyside and the cheerleaders from Everton Football Club will also be on hand to keep spirits high.

The walk has increased by 2K this year and will start from key sponsor Halton Stobart Stadium in Widnes.

From there walkers will cross the Runcorn-Widnes Bridge before returning to the stadium for well deserved refreshments.

The hospice is a registered charity and receives only limited funding. Halton Haven relies almost entirely on the generosity of the local community and businesses.

Money raised by events are vital to keep the Hospice functioning in the community.

Walkers must enter individually, however once registered you can walk with a group of friends, family, colleagues or friends you meet on the night.

The entry fee is £15 and to register for the walk, to enter phone the events team on 0151 495 2111 and leave your name and address.
