Entries close on Saturday October 1 in the annual Ellesmere Port photographic competition.
Twelve photographs from those submitted will be chosen to create the I Love EP Calendar 2017.
Organisers at the borough council say they are hoping that if past years are anything to go by the standards are expected to be very high once again.
The not for profit 2017 calendar will go on sale in December in aid of mayor Peter Rooney’s charity of choice ‘Beat’, the UK’s eating disorder charity.
Photographs are intended to show Ellesmere Port as a thriving place for residents, communities and businesses alike.
Locations could include new building projects, popular events or skilled workers all showcasing what the town has to offer.
Cllr Rooney said: “Ellesmere Port has a vast diversity of landscapes, flora and fauna, industrial, rural and urban areas.
“Building projects always attract attention, we have new houses being built across the town, including the Ledsham Garden Village near Little Sutton, the Magenta scheme on Sutton Way, and the Countryside scheme on Cromwell Road that could make good photo subjects.”
He added: “With so many opportunities for great images to be captured and shared, get out and let’s show what this fantastic town of ours has to offer and let’s show why ‘We Love Ellesmere Port’.”
