SENIOR cheerleaders from Deva Cheerleading Academy received top instruction from members of the British Cheerleading Association's National Team.
The 22-strong team spent money raised by various fundraising events over the summer on the all-day cheerleading camp, held at the Northgate Arena in Chester.
The cheerleaders learned new stunting and tumbling skills as well as tips to improve their jumps and motions from coaches and members of the national squad.
“It was really good and such hard work,” says cheerleader Jess Mosedale, 14, from Ellesmere Port. “I enjoyed working on my tumbling and all the conditioning work we did.”
DCA is now in preparation for their 2011/2012 competitive season, which starts in October.
