DAREDEVIL motorcyclists will show off their two-wheeled tricks at this year’s Cheshire County Show.
The Bolddog Freestyle team is back by popular demand at the 2010 show and gearing up to amaze the crowds with their extreme motorcycle trick riding on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 22 and 23.
Bolddog’s team manager and leading freestyle rider Dan Whitby said: “Over the last few years FMX has really grown in popularity with high profile events like the Red Bull X-Fighters coming to the UK, so it’s fantastic to take the spectacle out to the public at events like the Cheshire Show.”
The nationally acclaimed team has the largest and most sophisticated landing ramp in the world allowing the riders to jump gaps of over 75ft and reach heights of 35ft.
At this year’s show 20-year-old Arran Powley, one of the country’s hottest young FMX talents, will be joining Dan to perform an array of death-defying tricks including the ‘look back hart attack’, ‘holly grab’, ‘switch blade’, ‘kiss of death’, ‘dead body’ and many more.
“Many of the moves we perform will see us exiting our seats, taking our hands off the handlebars and rotating our body around the bike. To give the crowd an even closer taste of what we are doing we also provide onboard commentary while performing the tricks,” said Dan.
Tickets for the Cheshire County Show are now available from the official show website www.cheshirecountyshow.org.uk or by telephoning the ticket hotline number on 0845 124 98 22.
