CHESTER’S Delamere Street will be closed on Sunday and Monday, March 21 and 22 so that a crane can be moved by Watkin Jones from their Travelodge site.
While the crane is removed, contractors working at the site will install the drainage connection to the main sewer in Delamere Street and the North West Gas Alliance will install a new gas main along part of Victoria Road.
The diversion for traffic will be via St Oswald’s Way, Frodsham Street, where the rising bollards will be lowered for the duration of the closure, and Gorse Stacks.
