THERE is only one week left to get your entries in for The Chronicle’s search for the best gardens in the Chester area to celebrate Cheshire’s 2008 Year of Gardens.
Friday, August 15 is the closing date for the receipt of entries in the two categories of the competition: large gardens (detached houses) and small gardens (flats, terraces and semis).
All you have to do to enter is to send us a colour picture of your garden as well as your details.
You can post pictures to us or drop them off at our offices at Chronicle House, Commonhall Street, Chester.
If possible, we would prefer it if you could mail it to us in jpeg format – see the how to enter panel for details.
The readers will vote to narrow the entries down to a shortlist of three in each category.
Judges will then visit the six shortlisted gardens to decide who wins which prize.
First prize will be £150 of Gordale garden centre vouchers, £100 for second and £50 for third in each category.
Information on how to vote for your favourite gardens as well as a gallery of entries for the competition will appear in this Friday’s edition of The Chronicle.
