Mrs Elliott, whose practice is called The Chiropody Shop and Physical Therapies, said: 'I'm really enjoying be back. With my new venture I hope to offer a quality and caring service to the local population with a drop-in as well as an appointment policy.
'I'm also working with the boxers at Vauxhall Motors ABC, treating them when they are competing in tour naments.
'I specialise in pain trauma and injury as well as sports therapies. I also work closely with diabetics.
'I set up my first practice in Florida and worked with American football and basketball players.'
She added: 'After the death of my husband I returned to England briefly, qualifying as a chiropodist. But I missed the sunshine and moved to Majorca where I lived for five years opening three practices.
'The central practice was in Portah Nous, the playground of the celebrities, some of whom were on my client list including a number of UK soap stars.'
