A CHILDREN’S day nursery on the city’s outskirts has been given the thumbs up in an Ofsted inspection.

The Kidsunlimited Nursery on the Countess of Chester Health Park, which opened in 1994, is one of 52 of the company’s nurseries in the UK and operates in a purpose built nursery with over 21 members of staff, many of whom hold early years qualifications.

Inspectors described the nursery as ‘very welcoming’ with well behaved children that appear to be happy, settled and secure.

The children’s positive progress was noted and staff were praised for their efforts in ensuring that the welfare, learning and development of individual children were met.

The nursery’s outdoor play areas were described as ‘superb’ and its effective procedures ensure good relationships between parents, carers and others who make significant contributions to the children’s and learning.

Parents are also positive about the nursery, describing the staff and management as ‘fantastic’.

Kidsunlimited is open each weekday from 7am to 6pm throughout the year, excluding bank holidays.
