CHESTER student Sarah Bottomley is the winner of a competition to help students recycle more.
Free tins of baked beans were handed to students during the first month of term along with fridge magnet collection calendars to ensure they knew what to put out each week and on what day.
To enter the competition students wrote their address on the side of their empty baked beans cans and then place them out for collection along with their other recycling.
The names of everyone who recycled the tins correctly were put into a prize draw.
Sarah received a supermarket voucher from Cheshire West and Chester Council environment executive member Cllr Neil Ritchie.
