A LIONS Club fundraiser was music to the audience’s ears.
Chester Lions Club held a musical extravaganza in the Long Room at Eaton Hall, with the kind permission of the Duke of Westminster.
Organised by Lions Peter Upton and Peter Bellion, the bill included vocal trio The Harmonettes, the Catholic High School Quire, conducted by Kevin Tout, soloist Lauren Faulkner and the King’s School Orchestra, conducted by Philip Robinson.
The concert culminated in a rendition of Rule Britannia, with audience participation.
Funds raised from the concert will go to Lions Club charities.
