A MAN was arrested after a fight at a Chester taxi rank.

The incident occurred at 12.38am on Sunday, March 28, outside King Kabs taxi rank, Bridge Street, Chester.

The fight involved a large group of males and started when a man allegedly pushed into the taxi queue.

He was asked to leave by security staff but refused and a scuffle broke out.

A 37-year-old man was arrested nearby and has been released on police bail until May 4.

One man suffered a large cut to his forehead, requiring internal and external stitches, two black eyes and a broken nose.

A second man suffered minor injuries.
