People travelling abroad can now pick up their foreign currency at Cheshire Oaks.

Described as one of the UK’s leading travel money retailers, No 1 Currency has opened the doors to its latest store located at the designer outlet creating three new jobs.

The Irish company says the store will provide a comprehensive range of currencies to local people travelling abroad and to the business community.

It will be open for business between 10am and 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm on Saturdays and 10am to 6pm on Sundays.

Customers and businesses will have a choice of over 50 different currencies to buy and sell over the counter with 0% commission and no minimum spend.

They will also be able to use No 1 Currency’s click and collect and click and sell services which are available through its website to pre-order or pre-sell their currency online and collect at the store.

Early Tax Refund

In addition to the range of currency exchange services offered in the store, international shoppers can also use the Global Blue Early Tax Refund service to claim the VAT back on their purchases in cash in store.

The outlet was the 18th No 1 Currency exchange store to open in 2015 as part of the company’s UK-wide expansion.

Simon Phillips, retail director said the store was ‘perfectly placed to service both residents and the local business community’.

“Our click and collect and click and sell services show our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers. Click and Sell is our new online service which enables customers to manage the sale of their unused foreign currency notes online and exchange it at their nearest No 1 Currency outlet or at one of more than 160 affiliated agents across the UK.”
