Children at Cherry Grove Primary School in Boughton took big steps to perform at the Royal Opera House in London today (Monday, March 23).
The youngsters from the Boughton school were invited to take part in the Dance Dynamic project with the Royal Ballet.
They travelled to the capital, some of them for the first time ever, to perform their dance on the iconic London stage.
Before the trip, teacher Roz Artist said: “Most of our children had never been to London before - this opportunity will enable them to experience our capital city, develop a greater understanding of our heritage and architecture at the prestigious Royal Opera House and perform on this fantastic stage. To see the children’s reaction will be truly magical.
“Experiences like this can be life changing, and you never know it may inspire the next generation of dancers.”
The school raised £600 to support the trip through a crowd funding website and bake sales and the Royal Opera House provided an additional grant of £300.
