A LIFELONG love of fashion compelled one Broxton woman to make it her number one priority.

Lucy Meek, 27, is following her true passion for fashion by setting up her own online vintage store - direct from her bedroom!

Having scoured the county for vintage clothing, Lucy is ready to make a big impact with her new self made company, Vintage Point.

And after a stint living in Belgium with her husband’s job, and returning to Broxton to live with her parents for a while, she feels that it’s now or never for her to break into the industry.

“When I came back from Belgium I realised how hard it is to find employment at the moment,” said Lucy.

“I decided to look into setting up a business, and owning a vintage store has been something I have always wanted to do. I can’t afford the overheads of an actual shop, so I decided to do it online.

“My parents have a nice big desk in my old bedroom so I have been running the entire business from there.”

She added: “ I have scoured various Cheshire locations and I’m aiming to bring affordable vintage to those who love dressing up, as I think there is a gap in the online market for this.”

“My main aim is to bring affordable vintage clothes to the market, because they are so expensive.”.
