A community event fit for a queen was held in Ashton Hayes .
The Ash-worth Time Bank, a charity based in Ashton Hayes which aims to combat rural isolation within the surrounding communities, held a Royal Afternoon Tea Party at the Queen Elizabeth II Recreation Field and Pavilion.
Under glorious skies, more than 70 guests enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea - some wearing their best hats.
St John’s Rose Queen, Gemma Connery, awarded a certificate for the most attractive hat to Brenda Martin.
The guest of honour was Margaret Mullin who shared her 90th birthday on the same day as Her Majesty the Queen.
The event raised more than £500 for the Time Bank and thanks are expressed to everyone who worked so hard to make the afternoon such a success.
