THE Nail Spa and Training Centre on Hoole Lane Bridge, has installed the latest in foot spa technology.
A tank full of 250 fish has been installed to nibble away dead and undesirable skin from clients’ feet, while giving a massage at the same time.
The fish are friendly Garra Rufa fish which originate from Turkey.
Spa owner Val Bellis said: “ The fish spa fits perfectly with the new salon image. People are fascinated that such a simple idea works. From an environmental standpoint this is safe as no chemicals are used and there is a natural filtration in the tank, keeping the tank and fish very clean.”
