THE Cheshire Business Awards 2012, in association with SAS Daniels and Click Consult, got off to a great start with a launch event hosted by sponsor SAS Daniels at ABode in Chester.
After a welcome from business development director Laura Parkinson, Adrian Lomas from Blueleaf, winner of the 2011 Employer of the Year, shared his experience of entering and winning at the last two awards events and gave his top tips on putting together an entry.
He was followed by Katie Isaacson, head of events for Trinity Mirror in the North West, who gave an overview of the awards, the categories and entry process.
The Trinity Mirror Cheshire Business Awards, sponsored by SAS Daniels and Click Consult, are entering their ninth year.
Businesses from across the region can nominate themselves, or another business they know well for one of the awards.
There are 10 categories to choose from and the awards are open to all businesses whatever the size of trade.
Visit www.cheshirebusinessawards.co.uk to download an entry form. Alternatively, call the events team on 01244 606472 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy. The deadline for entries is Friday, July 27.
All entries received will be reviewed by our independent panel of judges and the shortlists announced in the Pioneer in September.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner and awards ceremony hosted by Lucy Meacock on Friday, October 5, at Chester Racecourse.
