BUSINESS leaders have celebrated a magazine’s birthday with a Cheshire Expo.
The event was organised by Profile Communication and Business Update magazine, to celebrate its 10th birthday.
Held at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa, Tarporley, it was packed with networking opportunities, headline speakers and workshops on how to boost growth and sustain success.
Profile managing director Nicola Dufty said: “The Profile team pulled out all the stops to make this a fantastic event and I am so proud of their efforts.
“We have been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback and kind messages of support.”
Delegates heard from speakers TV ‘Dragon’ and entrepreneur Richard Farleigh, sales expert Graham Phillips, export expert Clive Drinkwater from UKTI and Phil Jones, who heads up multinational Brother UK.
Mr Jones said: “In times of extreme uncertainty, it’s essential to perform at your best. Events like the Cheshire Business Expo are a much-needed lifeline for small business to meet big businesses, to be inspired, network with a wide range of successful people and take learning back to your day job to change your dynamic.”
Stephen Johnson, sales director at Expo partner Indigo Promotions, said: “The true impact of the Expo will be far-reaching and of lasting significance for many people, all of whom have gained from the world-class speakers and exhibitions.”
