Glan Aber Tennis Club will be offering sessions for service users of a mental health support charity in March.
The initiative with Chester charity Chapter aims to provide tennis to a wider community regardless of any mental or physical disability.
Club coach Jo Trataris has extensive experience in working with people with disabilities and the emphasis will be on exercise, fun and social interaction.
The costs of this weekly activity at the club in Westminster Park, including equipment, transport and coaching, will be met by sponsors Swettenham Chemists.
Dawn Swettenham, off Swettenham Chemists said: “We are thrilled to be able to support Glan Aber and Jo Trataris in this exciting project.
“Exercise in a fun and welcoming environment is not always accessible yet it can make a huge to difference to health and wellbeing.”
