It may be freezing cold out there but there is a lot of summer loving going on at a city high school.
Students at Upton-by-Chester High School have been working like greased lightning to get together their latest high school musical.
If you were born to hand jive there are worse things you could do than head to the St James’s Avenue from February 9-11 to catch their production of the 50s hit Grease.
If you don’t fancy going alone, suggest to a friend that ‘We go together’ but make sure to wear a leather jacket and dye your hair pink.
Producer and director Chris Tierney is enjoying the enthusiasm for the show. He said: “It’s appeal is such that Wednesday night is a ‘singalong night’ and the audience is encouraged to come along in costume to belt out their favourites.”
