Students are putting the finishing ‘feline’ touches to performances as Tarporley High School’s production of Cats opens tomorrow.
Local primary schools were treated to the preview showings of the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical in advance of the opening night on Wednesday evening, January 20.
Head of drama Ellie Roberts-Williams promises that ‘the show fuses a spectacular mix of feline glamour and ‘catty’ attitude, opening with the Jellicle Cats’ annual renunion.
Headteacher Sarah Lee said: “We have a strong team of musicians, artists, actors and actresses working together and I know they will create a memorable piece of musical theatre. In advance of the production I would like to wish all the cast and crew good luck and thank them for the commitment they have shown.”
The production runs from Wednesday, January 20 to Friday, January 22 at 7pm and tickets can be purchased by contacting reception 01829 732558.
