The Northgate Quarter in Chester will bring its summer of festival activity to a spectacular conclusion on bank holiday August Sunday.

The Bank Holiday Music Festival on Sunday, August 25 will feature a wide variety of acts performing on the day covering many styles of music including Tiro Lark, Skeleton Suite, The Queen’s Minions, Fabian, The Rusty Cadillacs, Amy Powel, Jonathan Coley, Rudi, Richard Bratt and many more.

The Northgate Quarter has so far hosted festivals that have featured Vikings, Roundheads, choirs, maypole dancing, vaudeville and ukuleles.

There will be plenty more cultural variety to go alongside the music on the street such as a storyteller stage where you can listen to a tale or two and as always there will be a collection of art projects for you to join in.

There will also be a street market selling all kinds of treats and knick knacks from cupcakes to bric-a-brac to vintage and retro stalls.

Like the Bank Holiday festival that took place in May there will be many bands playing over three stages.

The festival is sponsored by  Bulmers  and councillors from city centre, Handbridge, Garden Lane, Newton and Lache Park.
