The stars of a major new ITV documentary showing the glamorous lives of The Real Housewives of Cheshire have been revealed.
The series will step into the champagne-fuelled lives of WAGs and businesswomen Leanne Brown, Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon, Magali Gorre and Tanya Bardsley.
As The Diary revealed last week, the glamorous girls were all filmed at the palatial Great Warford mansion of property entrepreneur Dawn and her ex-footballer husband Ashley at their annual Creme d la Creme charity ball.
The show will explore more of their glamorous lives as they go about day to day life in Cheshire’s “Golden Triangle” the area around Wilmslow, Hale and Alderley Edge.
A new publicity picture has today been revealed of the ladies pictured on the night of that ball in all their most glamorous outfits.
ITV has confirmed the full line-up of women who are being filmed for the new series which will be broadcast on its new free-to-air channel, ITVBe later this month.
The show is inspired by the outrageous antics of America’s Real Housewives, which has been a bit hit in the States.
An ITV statement said: “Throughout the series we’ll get to know these amazing characters and their intertwining lives. In the extreme world of Cheshire’s rich and famous residents, life moves fast and each day has its dramas, ensuring every episode will be action packed and entertaining. All with the gorgeous backdrop of the lavish homes and the exclusive locations that these women live in.”
Dawn knows plenty about those glamorous homes - as the property company she runs in Alderley Edge with ex-Man City and Barnsley player Ashley, Bilton Ward, has built many of the luxurious mansions owned by footballers in Cheshire.
That includes the mansion where Leanne Brown lives with her ex-Manchester United and now Sunderland star player Wes Brown.
Magali Gorre is the wife of ex-footballer Dean Gorre and is also a well known face on the social scene, while former glamour model Tanya Bardsley is the wife of Stoke City defender Phil Bardsley, marrying him in a fairytale ceremony earlier this summer.
Meanwhile Ampika Pickston knows plenty about the glamour of the Cheshire Set - as she owns the luxury beauty salon Opium Hair and Beauty in Hale Barns.
Glamorous Dawn and Leanne have been best pals for years, and frequent the most fabulous and exclusive of events across Manchester and Cheshire - with the TV show promising us unique access to these when it airs from January 12.
The show is being produced by award-winning team Monkey Kingdom, and TOWIE writer Daran Little is also on board for the new show.
