Comedian Bobby Mair makes his first trip to Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday, June 5 as he joins the line-up for The Very Best in Stand Up.

The Canadian has appeared on TV shows including BBC2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC3’s Russell Howard’s Good News and Comedy Central’s Live at The Comedy Store.

He will be joining Elis James, John Gordillo and Toby Hadoke as The Very Best In Stand Up reaches its last show of the current season, with the show returning in September.

A spokesman for Nantwich Civic Hall said: “His unique stage presence and delivery makes him an utterly compelling act to bring to Nantwich Civic Hall for the first time.

“The show will be closed by the fantastic Elis James, returning to the Civic after an outstanding set three years ago. Elis has since been a regular on Channel 4’s Stand Up For The Week since and also took the main role in the BBC Three comedy Crims.

“John Gordillo is an act that we’ve been trying to bring to Nantwich since the shows started five years ago. An absolute staple of the UK comedy circuit having worked and written for a host of huge names including Eddie Izzard.

“The show will be held together by the talents of the superb Toby Hadoke, we’re always thrilled to bring him back and a great act to compere the final show of the season.”

Tickets are on sale priced at £10 plus a booking fee. Doors will open at 7.15pm with the show commencing at 8.15pm. Over 18s only and discretion is advised if you think you may be offended.
