Storyhouse are looking for male performers to take part in a UK wide theatre project, taking place this summer in Chester.

Working with partners in England, Scotland and Wales, Storyhouse - producers of the city’s award-winning Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre, music and literature festivals - are looking to recruit individuals who look between the age of 18-35, interested in taking part in a one-off, large scale event, which will be directed by an award-winning team of international repute.

Alex Clifton, artistic director of Storyhouse, said: “This really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of something really special to mark a significant milestone in the nation’s history.”

Alongside hundreds of other people, participants in Project Octagon will be taking part in a performance that will ‘mark a moment in national history’. Due to the nature of the performance, all participants will require a good level of physical fitness. The voluntary roles will require no previous acting experience, however participants will need to be comfortable performing in a public space.
