SUTTON CC have taken over at the top of the Halton Table Tennis League's Division One after wins at Widnes Rec B and Frodsham B.
Alec Bryce,Eddie Clein, Ste Whalley and Rod McPherson scored trebles.
Sutton Manor B are in second place following victories over Widnes Rec B, Ford B and Halton Pavilions, in which Mike Denmade, Peter Findlater and Brian Wearden hit hat-tricks.
A mixed bag for Frodsham A saw a win, a draw and a defeat to Ford B, Runcorn Sports Club A and Widnes Rec A, respectively.
John Perry and Charlie Ostapski scored trebles for Frodsham with Frank James and Paul Shaw doing likewise for Widnes Rec A.
Ford B had a Rob Goldson treble in their win at Runcorn Sports Club B.
Division Two's Stockham Lodge scored wins over Sutton Manor C and Halton Seniors to move ahead in the title race. Dave, Alf, Jeff and Mark Southall kept it in the family, all remaining unbeaten.
Nearest rivals Runcorn Sports Club C beat Halton Club B and drew with Halton Seniors - Brian Rawlinson and Son Tran scoring trebles.
