JFC Boughton marked the presentation of their new kit with a thrilling 6-3 victory at Waverton Wasps on Sunday which kept them top of Chester & District League Under 14s Division One.

Boughton, whose new strip has been sponsored by civil engineering contractors WE Parsons & Co Ltd, fell three goals behind to a buzzing Wasps side inside the first 10 minutes.

But they dug deep and produced a sensational second-half showing after which Alessandro Maletta ended with an outstanding hat-trick.

Tommy Speed, Christoph Aziamale and Will Smith – direct from a corner – shared the rest of the Boughton strikes.

Luke Chard, Cam Tye and Jordan Diamond did the damage as third-placed Chester Nomads won 3-0 at home to Groves Athletic.

Chester Nomads beat clubmates Chester Nomads Colts 4-0 in the U13s Division with goals from Pickering (2), Beesley and man-of-the-match Roxburgh.

Hawker Jets maintained their flying start to the U11s Division A season with a 9-0 home success over Porto Panthers.

Danny Radford, Junior Scott, Andy MacLean, Cain Noble, Aiden Counsel and Sam Fowles got the goals in a spirited match that was well refereed by Simon Povey.

Chester Nomads twice came from behind to win 3-2 at home to Ellesmere Port Rangers in the Ellesmere Port Junior League Under 12s Division.
