Barrow Athletic fared better, beating Chester Nomads Thirds 3-2. Tom Wilkinson pounced once and Roger London got two, with Chris Parry scoring the replies.

Ashton Lions drew 2-2 away to Crossway. Richard Milne and Matt Kilgannon scored for Ashton, with Aaron Edwards and Steve Gore netting for Crossway.

Kelsall also drew, 3-3 against Cestrian Alex. Andy Johnson hit twice and Paul Ellson also netted for Kelsall. Adi Gough bagged a brace and Richard Deponeo got a third for the visitors.

In Division Two, three Dannys struck for City Bar to beat visitors Robin Hood 6-1. Danny Jones bagged three with Danny McLoughlin and Danny Mitchell also scoring.
