FC BOUGHTON reached the semi-finals of the Aldford Glass Sunday Cup with a 3-1 win at Wheelwright Arms with goals from Paul Kenyon, Ian Jones and Kevin Garland and will now face Dee Rangers on Sunday, March 13, at home.

The other semi-final features Lache Athletic and Vicars Cross Dynamos on the same date.

In Section A Saltney Ferry cruised to a 4-1 home win against Shell Swan with goals by Nick Ashford (2), Andy Keir and Mike Marsh.

Dee Miller went second in Section B with a 3-0 win at Red Lion, while Red House grabbed a late winner to win 4-3 at Upton YC who had Jamie Pritchard, Nathan Freeman and Kevin Dodd on the mark.

Chester City ISA crushed nine-man Boathouse (Craig Anderson 2, Andy McGregor) 7-3 with strikes by Matthew George (4), Mark Howell, Clive Allman and Scott Ditchfield.

After leading 3-1 at the break Black Dog let Bromfield Arms back in the game and the hosts surged to a 6-4 win, thanks to Neil Fields (3), Steve Kirkley, Andy Huxley and Steve Hill.

A Mark Chidlow double gave Bache a 2-2 draw at St Werburgh's , while Egerton Arms had a 2-1 home win against Tattenhall .

Tarvin Rex (Shaun Page) were held to a 1-1 home draw by Custom House who led with a Phil Heron goal.
