Holroyd parts company with Blues

CHESTER City have today confirmed that striker Chris Holroyd’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.

CHESTER City have today confirmed that striker Chris Holroyd’s contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.

News of the 21-year-old’s parting with the club comes after he turned down a trial at Bournemouth this week.

Holroyd’s name was also circulated among clubs last week and interest has been shown by both Cambridge United and Stockport County.
