Chester FC are set to have a striking dilemma for tomorrow's trip to Macclesfield Town.

The Blues, unbeaten in eight National League games, head to Moss Rose tomorrow night (7.45pm) with just one recognised striker in James Alabi after Kane Richards picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-1 draw at York City on Saturday.

Richards, who scored an injury time equaliser for Chester at Bootham Crescent at the weekend, will serve a one-match ban which will come into effect for the clash between the Cheshire rivals.

And with Oluwaseun Akintunde set to miss out as owing to an enforced period of absence after suffering concussion at Southport, Blues boss McCarthy is likely to have only Alabi available for selection in attack.

Right back Theo Vassell currently is one game away from a ban, sitting on four bookings currently.
