HARTFORD lost out to new league leaders Bunbury on Saturday, but collected a creditable 13 points in the process.
After being asked to bat Hartford were soon reduced to 54-3. The recovery was staged initially by Gaz Stokes (34) and Rob Whittle. After Stokes was well caught in the covers, Ben Stott scored a fluent 40 and Hartford then lost three wickets in a hurry, Whittle top scoring with 51, before Brain Harkin (33) saw Hartford to their total.
After tea, Bunbury went off in a hurry and, despite Matthew Shinkfield's 3-47, cruised to a five-wicket victory.
