Nix remain an outside chance for the top four after a comfortable win over Plymouth Raiders at the Northgate Arena.

Star forward Victor Moses was in outstanding form as he boosted his BBL Player of the Season claims with a devastating individual performance.

Moses finished with an incredible 50 points and 20 rebounds as the Nix found the perfect response to the BBL Trophy semi final exit to Glasgow Rocks.

Key playmaker Reggie Middleton sat out the game and his team-mates took some time to get going as Raiders went in at the end of the first quarter only one point down.

Nix hit form in the second quarter and put together a 15-0 burst to move into a commanding 49-36 half time lead with the visitors unable to handle Moses.

Cheshire went further ahead in the third period before Plymouth pulled back to within nine points but a 17-6 surge saw Nix go into the final quarter with a 19 point advantage.

Moses proved almost unplayable and continued to rack up the points in the final 10 minutes, bringing up his 50 from the free throw line.

Plymouth got to within 10 points but the hosts finished well to wrap up an impressive win and keep the pressure on London Lions in fifth and fourth-placed Leicester Riders.

Dominque Coleman ended the game with 20 points and Michael Creppy chipped in with 15 points but it was star man Moses who stole the show.

On Friday night, Glasgow Rocks overturned a six-point deficit from the first leg to reach the BBL Trophy final.

Nix had to do without Creppy after the guard was hit with a one-game ban but fought hard in his absence.

Glasgow edged a see-saw first half with Fran Urli sinking a long buzzer-beater to send the hosts in 39-38 up.

Nix led on the aggregate scores but Rocks took control with a 20-5 charge in the third quarter.

Cheshire hit back in the final period and the Rocks threatened  to crumble with a 9-0 spurt bringing Nix in range but the home side rallied and sealed the win from the free throw line.

Moses top scored for the visitors with 21 points and 14 rebounds, Coleman scored 20 point and Donatas Visockis double-doubled with 14 points and 15 boards
