Raiders are ready

PLYMOUTH Raiders head coach Gavin Love has prepared his side for a tough ride at the Northgate Arena on Sunday.

“Cheshire work really hard and are relentless with players like Bill Cole, Matt Schneck and Adam Brown,” he said. “They are extremely dangerous.”

And his captain Anthony Rowe agreed: “It's always a tough place to play, the crowd gets pretty rowdy and its one of those spots where you always have to battle.

“But we have to do what we did in Newcastle and get the win.”

Last weekend the Jets lost out 95-79 at Worcester Wolves.

Despite big performances from Kai Williams and MVP Bill Cole (18pts) which kept the Jets in the hunt for most of the game, they let it slip in the fourth quarter as the Wolves grabbed the points.
