A BUILD-UP of traffic outside a primary school was discussed after MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston Andrew Miller started a petition.
Mr Miller has called upon Cheshire West and Chester Council to restrict parking and access during school drop off and pick up times at Whitby Heath Primary, Ellesmere Port.
He collected 37 backers on the petition on November 30.
An action meeting was arranged for Thursday, January 19, at 10am, at the school to include officers from highways, parking, community safety and partnership teams as well as police, school staff and local members.
A school spokesman said: “There have been problems in the past but the meeting was a step in the right direction. Further discussions will be held with residents and it is hoped to resolve the situation as soon as possible.”
