WILL you be bringing literature to life on Thursday, March 1?

World Book Day is a celebration of reading for children of all ages and many schools, community groups and libraries will be holding events including getting children to dress up as their favourite literature character. Libraries taking part in World Book Day will also be encouraging children to read and many will host storytelling and reading events.

If you are taking part in any event to celebrate World Book Day we would love you to share your photographs with us. Whether your little ones are dressing up as Harry Potter or Little Red Riding Hood, or your community group or school are getting together to spend the afternoon reading, send us your snaps.

A selection of your pictures will be printed in the paper and all of them will appear in a World Book Day picture gallery on our website.

You can send us your picture on this easy-to-use form below. Remember to fill in all the fields, including a caption of who is in the picture and where they are from.
