MURDER squad detectives are seeking the driver of a car seen parked outside the home of a pensioner on the night she was killed.
Agnes Hanrahan, 71, was battered to death in her Widnes home on Monday, December 8.
Agnes, a mother-of-three and grandmother-of-two, was found by her daughter lying in a pool of blood on Tuesday morning.
Firefighters had to force entry to her home in Baguley Avenue, after her meals service could not get an answer.
She had suffered multiple blows to the head in what police say was a vicious and sustained at tack with a blunt instrument.
They want to eliminate a Silver Ford Focus registered in 2002 from their inquiries.
Anyone with information should contact Warrington CID on 0151-242 7431.
