Little Sutton mum Joanne Edwards, who works at Parkers Minibuses, Ellesmere Port, receives award from Ben Fogle at Chester Cathedral

A KIND-HEARTED student has been commended.

Mum-of-two Joanne Edwards, of Little Sutton, received a logistics award from TV star Ben Fogle at Chester Cathedral.

Joanne, 44, works at Parkers Minibuses, Ellesmere Port.

She recently completed NVQ level two in logistics and passenger transport and was nominated for the award by Sian Williams and Sue Oliver, of West Cheshire College, for her work in transporting special needs children to Dorin Park School.

She said: “I was honoured and pleased people outside work recognise the work I do to help the children.”

A Parkers spokesman said: “We are all very pleased with Joanne’s achievement.”
