An Ellesmere Port tattooist whose work has been praised by boxing legends Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather has become hot property for celebrities looking to add new ink.
Jay Hutton’s latest high-profile client at Adrenaline Tattoo Studio in Chester Road was actress Kym Marsh, who went to his studio while her son, David, had a geometrical half sleeve.
But she decided to book David in to the studio while she contemplated her design.
Jay said: “Basically, Kym started following me over a year ago as she saw my work on Twitter.
“Since then, I’ve had a few discussions with her about a few different ideas for a tattoo for her, but she is still undecided as to what she definitely wants.
“Kym messaged me about her son, David, wanting a geometrical half sleeve, so she booked him in with me and he and Kym came to my studio to get the design started.”
While work on David’s sleeve was under way, Kym tweeted a picture and wrote: “Here’s @JayTAT2 starting my son’s half sleeve. Cheers mate, he’s beyond excited.”
After receiving praise from many of her followers, she replied: “Amazing isn’t it?”
Jay continues to notch up an impressive list of celebrity customers and has since had interest from Mario Falcone from ITV2 reality TV show The Only Way is Essex and Lee Ryan from chart-topping boy band Blue.
Last year, he inked reality TV show Geordie Shore’s Jay Gardner with a Polynesian design on his rib cage.
Jay’s handiwork went viral on Twitter after an impressive back piece featuring boxing ace Floyd Mayweather received the plaudits of the world champion himself, who shared it with his 4,064,851 followers.
Jay, who trained in Belgrano, Abergele, has also had his work complimented by heavyweight boxing legend Tyson, RnB singer Ne-yo and rap stars Travie McCoy, The Game and Pitbull.
