MP ANDREW Miller has pledged his support for an internet hotline that campaigns against sexual abuse against children.

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) is the UK public’s online outlet to report child sexual abuse content, criminally obscene adult content and non-photographic images of child sexual abuse in a secure and confidential way.

The IWF works in partnership with the online industry, law enforcement, government, and international partners to minimise the availability of this content.

Its work is globally considered as one of the best examples in its field.

Now Mr Miller has become an IWF Champion and wants to raise awareness of the importance of the fight against online child sexual abuse content and the work of the IWF.

He said: “I am delighted to be able to support the IWF by becoming one of their champions.

“I will continue to do all that I can to help them achieve their goal of eliminating child sexual abuse content on the internet.”
