Insp Brian Green replaces Insp Kevin Chambers as the inspector in charge of the Chester Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team

Chester Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team has appointed a new inspector.

Insp Brian Green, formerly neighbourhood inspector of the Ellesmere Port Neighbourhood Policing Team, has replaced Insp Kevin Chambers.

Insp Green has 18 years experience in the force.

He said: “Chester Outer has enjoyed an excellent period under the management of Inspector Chambers and it is my intention to maintain this success and develop relationships and working practices to ensure continued progress.

“My objective is to ensure the people of Chester are safe and feel safe in the places they live and work.

“This will be achieved by us all working together to reduce all elements of crime and anti-social behaviour and to ensure that whenever possible you are protected from those individuals that cause the most harm and distress within your communities.

“I want the residents and employees of Chester to have confidence in your local police team to know that when you require our service you will receive a professional and appropriate response to your needs.

“I am really excited by the challenge ahead for the next 12 months in what will no doubt be a demanding year for all aspects of the police service.”
