A CONVICTED rapist pleaded guilty to a sexual assault minutes before his trial at Chester Crown Court yesterday.
Terry David Borrill, 47, of Melbourne Road, Blacon, originally denied assaulting the woman at the Frog and Nightingale pub in Frodsham Street, Chester, on a busy Saturday afternoon in June last year but changed his plea.
He admitted sexually touching a female of 16 or older and breaching the conditions of a sexual offences prevention order (SOPO) imposed in November 2006.
Judge Nicholas Woodward adjourned for reports to be prepared and Borrill will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court in the week commencing March 14.
