TWO men spent the night in hospital with chest injuries following a crash in Mickle Trafford.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision which happened on the A56 Warrington Road at about 1.15pm on Monday (September 19).
The collision involved a blue Nissan Primera and a Renault Scenic.
A Cheshire Police spokeswoman said: “The driver of the Primera, a 49-year-old man from Blacon, sustained chest injuries.
“The driver of the Scenic, who is a local man, also sustained chest injuries. Both drivers were treated in hospital at Chester overnight.
“The road was closed at the junction with the M53/M56 roundabout and at the junction with School Lane until around 3.30pm.2
