HALTON Haven Hospice is hosting a music and race night to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

The event is taking place at the Frodsham Community Centre on Saturday, March 12, with all proceeds being donated to the hospice.

Tickets cost £12 per person, which includes admission to the venue, a hot pot supper and entertainment from Irish band The Bogtrotters. There will also be a raffle.

Halton Haven Hospice events manager Ciaran Clotworthy said: “It is great that we are starting to hold events in the Frodsham area.

“We need to continue raising awareness about the hospice in this area and the community centre is a great venue to hold the event.

“Hopefully the event will be a success and everyone will have fun celebrating St Patrick’s night while raising money for Halton Haven Hospice.”

The event kicks off at 7pm and tickets need to be purchased in advance, they can be bought from any of the borough’s four Halton Haven retail units.
