Temporary traffic lights have been put in place on residential road in Chester because of a sinkhole.

Vehicles are only being allowed to flow in one direction at a time on the B5130 Sandy Lane on Wednesday (March 30).

The footpath and one half of the street were closed next to a building site at about 6pm.

It is not clear how long the traffic lights will need to be in effect while the sinkhole is repaired.
